The four earliest karate styles developed in Japan are Shotokan, Wado-ryu, Shito-ryu, and Goju-ryu. The first three styles find their origins in the Shorin-Ryu style from Shuri, Okinawa, while Goju-ryu finds its origins in Naha.

After his death,Mr. Sonnayila Srikanth from Telangana, Co founder of the federation has been appointed has president and took responsibilities to run the federation. Later on Mr. Sonnayila Srikanth has changed its name to “Wankan Karate Do Federation”. The main aim of the federation is women’s self defenses as well as to develop the art of karate. Mr Sonnayila Srikanth Co founder, works very hard to ensure that the organization is moving towards the ultimate goal.
